Day 1: Arrive at Volcanoes National Park
Pick up by our company tour guide from hotel in Kigali and drive off to Volcanoes National Park. The journey to the North goes through the beautiful terraced hillsides that display Rwanda’s landscape. On your way to Ruhengeri, you will come in contact with the base of the splendid Virunga volcanoes. Overnight at Dinner at Gorillas view Hotel (Luxury)/La Palme Hotel (Deluxe)/Muhabura Hotel (Budget)
Day 2: Gorilla trekking – Community Walk / Tour Twin Lakes
Start off your day with breakfast, you will take a short drive to the Headquarters of Parc National des Volcans. Meet and be briefed by the ranger guides about the primate behavior. This activity is thrilling and exploratory. The terrain is rough and at times muddy therefore the hikers have to be physically fit. Head back to your accommodation for lunch and in the afternoon tour to the twin lakes of Ruhondo and Burera or take a community walk around neighboring communities of the forest.
